Since I've seen some of the same questions popping up I thought this would be a good idea. If you wish to contribute any questions you feel are asked very frequently, please do so. Please DO NOT spam this thread. This thread is for frequently asked questions, not comments. This is meant to be helpful.

When I get the girder on "Plaice Holder" I can't move!
- You need to press the 'Jump' button to get rid of the girder. On the computer version this is 'Backspace', on the Xbox version it is 'Y', on the PS2 it is /\...not sure what it is for GC.

I can't complete the "Driving Range" Tutorial
- You can't complete this level. It is there so you can practice your weapon skills

Why has the Xbox Version been delayed?
- It has been delayed because Team17 are implementing Xbox Live. This will take some time to do so the deadline is later than the other versions. For up to date release date information look at http://worms3d.com/support.html?area=faqs#usea - not at retailers' sites which just guess until they hear a date.

Why has the Xbox Live Version been delayed AGAIN?
- It hasn't. Retailers keep changing the dates on their sites when they get too near to seem credible. No release date has (as yet) been announced for W3D Special Edition, regardless of anything retailers may have to say to the contrary.

- Acclaim went bankrupt. Team17 are looking into finding another publisher. I fully expect any new information will be posted around here somewhere and then a few months after that someone will update this thread.

Why have some weapons been taken out of Worms 3D?
- Some weapons, for example the minigun, have been taken out because they were similar to another weapon (The Minigun is similar to the Uzi). Other weapons have been taken out because they were too destructive with the new dimension (eg. Armageddon). And others have been taken out due to problems with the camera (eg. Blowtorch)

How is the medal you get determined.
May i remind everyone that it is PURLY time based, nothing to do with the amount of goes you have.

Can I suggest before this thread gets too large that instead of filling the thread with several posts with one question each, you just edit a previous post if you're only adding one or two, and that the thread isn't filled with lots of strange fringe questions like "Will there be a Worms Tetris?" that you're sure someone asked once but you're not sure? Good.

Will the PC version be able to play online against the Mac version or the X-Box version?
Short answer: No.
Long answer: X-Box Live is a closed system and nothing except an X-Box can play against an X-Box. The Mac version and PC version could in theory have been designed to play together, but this would have delayed the Mac version and the first PC patch would have stopped it working, so the Mac version was never designed to communicate with the PC version.

How do I unlock the Full Wormage?
You don't. There is no Full Wormage mode in Worms 3D.

Will Team17 be continuing to develop the 2D series?
It seems unlikely that any publisher will ever give a 2D game a second glance again, which is bad for the gamers, but good for the publishers because a lot of gamers at the moment would laugh at it too. It's a safe bet that there will be no more commercially released 2D Worms games, but the current series of beta patches Deadcode is working on hold some promise. Look in the W:A forum. (Edit: PC games, anyway -- of course XBLA and Wii have 2D Worms games now.)

How does Worms decide what medal to award you after a mission?
The medal colour is determined entirely by the time you took to complete the mission.

How do I complete/get gold on mission X
First, find the name of the mission. Then search the forum for that. The search button is at the top of every page. Almost all the missions have been dissected on the forum somewhere, so if you can't find the one you're looking for, either it's so easy nobody else has ever asked for help or you need practice using the search. Watch out: some missions names aren't quite the same in all languages, so ideally you'll want the English name.

Even longer answer: The XBox Live network is a closed system (as has already been said). The PC versions use GameSpy, while the Mac versions will use GameRanger. Because of the two different systems (as explained in AT's post), it is physically impossible for macs to play PC's

that a short answer, the long one being the full wormage can be accesed, but only through downloadiong hacks, and 100% savegames too, but i dont recomend it, the bottom line is, its cheating.

How do I drop dynamite from the jetpack?
Once you've activated the jetpack (press fire), select a new weapon from the menu, then press backspace [pc], / \ [ps2], or Y [xbox & gamecube].

Not sure on the last two. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

how do i use binoculars?

its probably best not too, they can be used for sniping by aiming and then selecting shotgun, but to tell the truth it has never worked for me.

Hey you left out the button for the PS2 which would remove the girder and allow you to move, It's the Triangle button.

You can't. That's something only avaliable in Worms4.

when i try to install the game on my new comp (vista), it get to about half way then asks for disk 2! i have and only ever had 1 disk so whats gives?

When i get in online it sad massage of day Welcome to worms 4:Mayhem your code version is up to date.Please insure that any firewall or routeris correctly configured for online play.Please see www.wormsmayhem.comsupport section for help.So when i get in 1 loby it is loading 3 minutes and that he leave.I dont know what to do
