I spy with my little eye:
New option: Disable hardware AA
New option: FXAA
First one increases performance quite well, I get 40-60fps.
When I activate FXAA it still performs well, I think I might don't have performance loss.
I also noticed the general performance has been fixed, I don't get as much lag as I did before.
Though I still have no sound. :/

Well my only hopes for WUM were this, tweakable weapons and official "unofficial" support for custom maps I hope this will also come but hey that's still a big thing.
Thank you team17, but don't stop here, keep going with the support

By the way, if you didn't know it yet, a user called AlexBond created an editor for Worms 3D maps that also works with both Worms 4 Mayhem and Ultimate Mayhem. Can be downloaded from http://www.worms3d-portal.com/, the problem is there is no proper way to integrate the maps at the moment other than replacing them with existing ones. So that should be made possible first.

I still don't get all the fuss over the Worms 3D maps, they still look and play as bad (if not worse) as they did 10 years ago.

Still more fun than playing the same W4 maps over and over.

Woah, so this finally happened? Well that's good. A little late for me, but good for others I guess.

Hi Stakhanov

If you are having problems getting the game to launch or you are experiencing random crashes, it might be that the game did not install correctly. Please use Steam’s validation check at least twice because sometimes it can report no problems on its first pass.

Verify integrity of game cache
1. Load Steam
2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.
4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
5. Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.

If you're still experiencing problems can you please email support@team17.com detailing your issues, thanks.

For example W4MapLauncher from Alexbond (More than 70 quality maps)

Thanks for the news bethamari!

The W3D maps are great! I just want to point out a few bugs I am still experiencing on PC...

The icarus potion is bugged on some of the W3D maps (the ice map for instance, i forget the name), you can't gain height when you press spacebar it forces you back to the ground. On other maps it works fine.

My mouse still freezes randomly when I'm in-game, making it impossible to select a weapon from the right-click screen. I think it may have something to do with my high DPI settings for my mouse (Razer DeathAdder 3500dpi).

I have no sound on the W3D single player missions. I can see the subtitles at the bottom but there is no sound All other missions/challenges are fine (VIA HD Audio).

Also the game sometimes crashes during the middle of a long MP game, after about 3 or 4 turns it will crash and we have to re-host the game This also happens with any style that has more than 1 round (Shopping style). It always crashes on the second round if you don't re-host the game.

Besides these minor issues it works great, I love the game and can't wait for Worms Revolution!

Well it was a steam inherent problem, because when I booted my PC today the game worked very well just as it was when I updated, sorry for the rage and bad language and thanks for your help

Very glad to hear they really were working on a patch and that it's out now on PC. Can I have a clue on when this patch is coming to xbla? Can't wait to finally play on the W3D maps, will certainly pick the game up again when I can play those.

this, as it's on the deal of the week, it would be the perfect time to have the patch and the worms 3D maps.

The Single-Player DLC is also half-off, so it'd be a great time to get the patch as well as the achievement fix.

Can we expect to see the Worms 3D maps added to Xbox 360/ PS3 in the future?

This. Adding the Worms 3D maps for the "Versus" mode would make this game complete, at least for me and others.
