New weapon suggestion!

Naa, im here, but just sitting and reading, like staff :P

I saw Cassidy already mentioned AK, something like that could be usefull and add to the variability.. It could have 5 accurate shots, all player controlled, dealing 10 dmg each? So in situation in which you have 2 enemy worms with 30 and 20 HP (or 10 and 40)which you could not kill with an shotgun or uzi (which is if im not wrong, pretty inaccurate on longer distances), you would use AK. Pushback could be like a shotgun or maybe even a bit higher? And price, maybe 870 since it can be better than shotgun in some occasions? And it could also be a rifle instead, or M16 or whatever

damn,this is hard when one of your unuseful talents is self-criticism.

I'm breaking my head over them animals,trying to come up with something genius like super sheep. It's harder than it looks. All i got so far are lookalikes,based on already made worms-weapons. Here's 3 :

-Kraken : a mighty Kraken dramatically appears above the selected point on a map,smashing the living F-word out of the section of the map,basically much like Armapudding.

-We had Cows x3, Reindeer x4, so I suggest Starfish x3. It could roll when released,other than that it the same weapon as the fore-mentioned.

-Hound! : the only somewhat original animal weapon I came up with. When this constantly barking dog is released,it bites and chews in a straight line trough worms,terrain,everything,ending with an explosion (imagine a map hole left after a Kamikaze strike is used).damage on the worm is 5 per bite,25 at the center of the dog's explosion.

This is it so far,but I'll keep updating, hopefully something extraordinary will come out of it. Cheers,y'all.

-Pineapple cluster or a Grape bomb-something powerful besides the banana that we can use

-(love this one) UFO : an air weapon. It slowly comes down,followed by the X files tune,but then the tune fades into the power-loss sound,and the UFO crashes,dealing 75 damage at the center of explosion. I was missing MB bomb,and this idea was born.

This is a pretty good suggestion, since there is a uzi and a shotgun and nothing more on Worms Facebook. I would love this to be in game!

Not realy creative ( as you said ) but this isn't a bad weapon at all.

so it really is your bday on Valentines,huh? I will be posting something nice that day,to gift back for the kind words.

Chilly bomb is a must,and it's an original,worm-spirited weapon that should definitely get in the game. I'm not trying to be polite,it really is.

This is now one great thread. It gives me hope that I can come up with something extraordinary wormlike in the animal weapons department. I got another funny weapon,but can't tell yet if it's that good:

-Rabid Snail : this hilarious snail is a ground weapon that changes direction when coming to an obstacle and has a 5 sec timer(like old woman does). Once released,it dashes forward yelling,but every second of the remaining four he gets fatigued (and more angry) and he briefly stops,so it's flesh color changes from a staring pink to an angry red at the last exploding second. He could have a fuse on the top of his shell. Ever since the idea came to me(today around 20h),I'm laughing every time I imagine seeing this weapon in action. I think it's very wormlike.

Nemir, I will tel you what you just did. You named a weapon very wormlike, so that's a good point for reading it. You made the weapon hilarious, and you made a kinda new concept of it ( As I can read it isn't the same as old woman). So what you did in short is, you made a great new weapon, just forgot to write how much damage it does.

Tryed to come up with new weapons, but when I read this I feel hopeless in creating a new great weapon like this.

Will try it as hard as I can to get a weapon like this, but can't promis anything.

I talked to some of my friends about the snail and they liked it,one of them even suggested also a snail weapon,only the one without a shell,that can climb as the terrain goes,following the outer line of the map. I decided to put that idea here also,it's a good idea. Similar to those weasels in (sigh) Worms reloaded. The termites were good too,just not very useful,as I recall.

Anyway,the damage of the Rabid Snail - 60.
I also think he shouldn't be large in size at all,rather a little angry snail with tiny voice to lol us.

Nemir, since the Rabid Snail I just can't come up with a realy great weapon. Well the only weapon I came up with is the Mystery Grenade: It does a mysterious amount of damage ( 30-80 damage, but don't tell anyone! ). Plus his fuse is totaly random which makes using the weapon very interesting!

I see that my inspiration is going down, but when you see the suggestions list it's realy full of weapons! So I will try to come up with some weapons, but try to come up with some by yourself. We can make the game realy great then.

It isn't realy a great suggestion, but it isn't realy that bad. Anyway did you think of the weapon more be like the ''longbow'' in *sigh worms reloaded sigh* or more like the shotgun? And 1000-2000 coins? The HHG is making same amount of damage and more land damage, but it's cheaper? You have to be realistic, don't give team17 a chance to take advantage. ( not realy mean how I put it in my way sorry. )

GalGhost, Can you come up with a realy own weapon which isn't a remix of anything. Since you have been here a while and see that you where ''ignored'' by us so I want to apologize.

Team17 made a great game whit this new update, which you guys realy should try ( If you haven't already ) and make sure you will keep coming with new ideas to make Worms, no Worms Facebook ( Sorry Nemir ) more awesome then it is right now.

So to make the list a bit fuller, I will add sugestions to it.
An option to trade items like hats, Island parts etc.
An option to switch your Credits to Worm Coins. For example 5 Worm Credits for 5000 Worm coins.
And at last but not st least: The stick! The stick is a kinda prod weapon, but it's stronger, pushes the worm farther away ( A bit more then dragon ball ) and it does 20 damage.

This is not what you see every day, lol. Well shall i begin a new thread and just put all the suggestions there and keep this as our suggestions base? I'm very bad at inventing weapons or anything, but this came to my mind:

Politican / Political Candidate - no direct damage, radius about same as Dragon Ball.
When used, your worm holds a sign saying his candidate number (17, of course) in one hand and in his other hand he has a megaphone, which you can aim higher or lower. He yells "Vote for me! Vote for me!" or "Wanna better life? Vote for me!". The worms in radius would go to opposite direction to get away from him because of hatred/annoy/getting bored/disregard/etc., because no one likes politicians! And so the escaping worm would long jump (Up arrow) twice no matter what there was in front of him, so it could be that the worm would jump off from high cliff or tree on ground or in water. So even a suicide would be a better solution than listening to a politician (though you would lose only few hp's if you hit the ground). This would affect to your worms too, so you should be careful when to use this. Of course this could lead to "Political assassinations" achievement or something like that.

Sipuncula, you're suggestion is very interesting, very comic and realy creative! You should keep up with this kind of suggestions! And since self-critisicm isn't you're talent ( I hope it's not ) you should realy come up with some new weapons! Every suggestion is one and it can bring inspiration to others ( Just like me now :P )

EDIT: Hey i totaly forgot about this! What about a themed island creation batle? For example, The theme is Christmas! People will send pictures to team17 and a winner ( or place 1 2 3 ) Will be picked out and he will get cash, a weapon or coins? This would be fun and profitable for you on the team!

Piki1802, well. I read this whole thread few days ago and found many good and creative and funny weapon suggestions, but that Politican was really the first idea I got and not until today. If I come with other ideas, I'll post them here too.

You're welcome Sipuncula. And you should do that, but take your time don't hurry with it.

By the way I came with something that could be interesting. What about adding indestructablr land damage in it as utility? But this is a litlle modyfied since only your opponent will have industructable damage. So if your on an edge and don't want to give the other a chance to reach you use that instead of cash! Also it will gain you allmost for sure the "land damage" bonus which makes this weapon already worth 50 voins and exp.

Nemir, I think you miss understood me. I meant to put all suggestions made there and to chat here about the weapons. I think it would be an ugly face if i put a list here again. Anyway I may make the list again just when I'm sure the second option falls down.

I was thinking of a hat, well i should say glasses! It would be very fun to have glasses like sports glasses, eye patch, night vission and nerd glasses. Some people would like this very much, I think.

Anyway, worms facebook page needs just 40 likes to get 10.000 likes! So to all people: like it with all your first, second, third and fourth accounts to maybe get the game out of Beta. And also to make thrm popular, they realy deserve to be,

Now i feel stupid of not thinking of this. You once proved again you are a real genius Anyway I will do that tomorrow I feel kinda tired and not concetrated enough.

I still have energy left to give one more suggestion, Mad Sheep: the mad sheep doesn't do much damage (50) and you can't trigger it. It will trigger if it hit's a worm or a wall. But he haves a big blast radius and does very much land damage what makes this even with the normal sheep.

I came with this amazing idea for an achievement: Full 17! you have to kill/damage worms with 17 diffrent weapons in three/ five matches!

And a new hat came here! The reinforcements hat! When you wear the hat you get a chance of 10 or 5% to get one reinforcements! But it also haves a little exp or coin bonus.

And now followed by more hats ( and most of them are not mine so don't thank me, thank yuki! )

Mario Hat - Allows user to execute higher/longer jumps.
Spike Hat - Hurts enemy that steps on the user's head.
Ballon Hat - Prevents damage from fall.
Angel Hat - User's weapon never cause damage on allies.
Straw Hat - Any rural animal weapon that is used will cause 50% more damage (for sheep and cows only once that pigeon and mole aren't rural)


A hat that...
- ...gives us the ability to see the order of worms turns (for better strategies) - Clock Hat
- ...shows the trajectory of the last shot (like in the challenges) - Binoculars
- ...protects against damage (something very low, like -5 damage... maybe just ONCE in a match) - Helmet
- ...lessens the pushback force of weapons a little - Rubber Helmet
- ...amplifies the blast radius of death explosion - TNT hat

Torpedo attack - damage: 50
It comes from a (yellow) submarine, which of course travels in water and shoots only one torpedo. As Airstrike, you can order the submarine to come either way from left or right side. Good for bombing especially beaches or edges or even inner parts of islands, if the terrain allows it. The vertical range could be half of the island's absolute height so if your worm was above the half point, it would be safe.

Sipuncula, Torpedo attack is a known suggested ( not here don't worry XD ) weapon BUT you didn't made it too powerfull, what's very good. And i realy agree with this weapon.

So hey all, Valentines day is coming ( And my Birthday YaY! ) and I'm sure you can all try to think of a valentines weapon!

So this was my suggestion that I made a while ago: Heart of Doom! a heart shaped dynamite and does 80 damage and a 100% lulz. (discription from Nemir)

And here are the suggestions of Nemir to get some inspiration: Anyone remembers Mail strike? Let's do something with that. Add red wings to them,call 'em Love letters,and man the hell up. Jesus Christ.

I'm thinking of changing my Hypnotiser idea into a similar,but more VD-spirited weapon: Cupid's arrow. And "control enemy worm while limited to only infinite weapons(bazooka,grenade,punch) and movement,your worm that used this cannot move. Range same as dragon ball" still stands,once you fire arrow(mouse pointed in any direction) and hit successfully,the enemy worm is yours while your worm remains where it was when firing.

And last, but maybe the best: Love is said to be blind,soldiers,so let's use this trait in our advantage. Let me present you the ultimate lol machine known to Worm: a prayer-like chant that will randomly affect every worm on the map with either reduced or increased weapon throw! Details? You throw a grenade at full power,but it counts only half. You try to hit a closest worm with a bazooka at 1/3 power,it goes double that! This weapon got the name scale of love from me, but it's a great suggestion! So these where Nemir's valentines day suggestions.

do you think it would be better if the Scale would randomly teleport all worms to a different position on the map? Or simply add/remove their health like the original Scales of Justice - but this one could add 50 health to worms below 50,and reduce 50 to worms above 50 health(it could get very interesting cause worm with 51 health could be reduced to only 1)? Or do we save this one for a new idea? So posting like this also helps for inspiration, you don't even have to come up with a real weapon, making others inspired is also good enough ( this is also from Nemir )

Anyway, Sipuncula, Do you maybe want to change your weapon from torpedo attack to Love attack? Or just something similair, this could be a real (cash) valentines weapon!

So this is my suggestion for valentines day: love mine! The love mine is a a mine with pink colour, the mine can't hurt your worms, you lose your turn if you get hit though. And the best part is it does 55 damage to others! The mine explodes randomly ( If possible ) but if not then three seconds.

So people, help team17 a little to make this game even more perfect for valentines day! ( And my Birthday of course, and the Prime-minister of holland his birthday is also importent! )

So let's get back to what this forum is meant to be, creating new weapons!

Valentines day is coming, that means, gift cards, cupido, cake!

So here's my sugestion for valentines day, love-missle! The love missle looks allmost the same as the snoming-missle. But the love missle haves 2 aims, much more pushback, and does around 35/40 damage per missle!

This was it for this morning, let's all create the best of Worms! We are realy helping team17, me thinks.

Hey every one!

So, I see most of us came an end and don't know anymore what to say. So let me inspire you, let me introduce you: The Name Hat! The name hat is a hat which basicly let's you put a text on the hat!

And let me go to weapons now, how about a golden grenade? Since we have normal grenade and cluster bomb. The Golden Granade looks like the Golden Bazooka. The only diffrence(s) between the regular grenade and Golden grenade is: Golden Granade does 60- damage. But it haves a fuse of 3 seconds so you can't make ''sitting'' grenades with it.

And I was thinking of, Heart strike! The Heart strike is a weapon which comes from an air plane, and you can control it while it's in the air, so you are pretty sure that one heart will hit your valentine!

And over to my last one: A Flying burrito... THAT EXPLODES!!!

People, let me first say, COME ON!!! Nobody has anyideas?? This must be a joke. I was joking, but reaaaaly, we have to come up with something.

So this is my suggestion: an option to sell weapons, island parts, graves and etc. So when you click "buy" on something when you didn't mean to, you can always get a refund.

And, what about, an mix between shotgun and uzi? I don't have a name for it yet, but it shoots 5 bullets like uzi but it does 10 damage per bullet. And when you don't hit the eyes it does less then ten damage.
