Famitsu talked about a rerelease of the games for the PS3, not a remake. Some sites, being... games journalism sites... either mixed them up or just copied the news from other sites without doing the slightest bit of research first. Hence the Squirminator reference.

If the visuals are updated, even just slightly as was the case with the GoW collection, it can still classify as a remake. In any case, the fact that you jumped to an incredibly unreasonable conclusion due to the dubious use of a word that might or might not have been the most appropriate term is idiotic. People can, sometimes, fail to use the correct word to describe something, but you should still be able to tell what the person was actually trying to convey with just a tiny little bit of reasoning. Was it really beyond you to realize that perhaps it was just a simple case of the wrong word being used rather than flatout assume it was a lie propagated by the ignorant media?

I know I'm likely being horribly pedantic here, but I just refuse to accept that one! In the same vein that I'd never say Star Wars Episode 4 has been remade several times, I'd never consider this sort of thing to be a remake either!
