How strong is the community now on PSP?

For open warfare 2, are there still players who play multiplayer or is dead now??

PS--finding it hard to chose between a new xbox 360 and a used PSP, mainly want it for Worms

The multiplayer servers are shut off permanently I think, due to a problem with THQ or something.

Go with the Xbox.

get a psp or wait for the new pspgo. team17 will release a new worms on psp.
and as far as i know, worms on psp is WAY better than on xbox

Team 17 have said nothing about a PSP release after that interview of Spadge so i wonder if it will ever happen, also why is Worms better on PSP than xbox? Xbox has more players and will always last longer than PSP

Just because they didn't give any more info after announcing a new a PSP version, doesn't mean it's cancelled.

And worms is better on an X360 than a PSP.

Btw go with an xbox- a PSP collects dust quickly :/

Yea the only thing which attracts me towards PSP is the mobility, i can take anywhere i want which is sweet

well...ok. i like sony products better than microsoft but thats just my personal opinion, i won't argue and list the reasons bla bla.

@ Shadowmoon : have you even tried WOW2 on psp while servers worked? And have you compared it to xbla/psn version? I have and you obviously didnt.
Objectively WOW2 on psp was really awesome, WAY better than worms psn, and WAY better than both xbla worms, really. It had a nice online community with many good players, more options n weapons than on ps3/xbox, we could create maps, change worms, chat and much more... I would still be playing it if I could.

I haven't, having purchasing it after, but you're obviously lying about Worms 2 Armageddon as there's actually 42 weapons in it, with 6 locked slots saved for DLC compared to about 34 on DS/PSP. It's missing some options, such as scheme creating/map creating, but I bet they come into the game eventually. Oh, and let's not forget more hats and speechbanks than WOW 2. W2A also includes fort, crazy crates and rope racing too. And there's chat available, including voice chat! And, you can invite up to 4 people to a game and voice chat to them all at once. So yeah, Worns 2 Armageddon is a lot better on an X360, especially with it's awesome weapon arsenal. Worms 2 Armageddon also has good players, many of them, have you played W2A at all, that is the question :/

Well, we cant compare the two, PSP is much smaller console than the xbox, besides W2:A has been released 2 years after WOW 2 so its bound to have more stuff, the question really is, will there be a new Worms for the PSP? IF yes, then will it surpass WOW 2 in goodness??

As said, there will be a new PSP version of worms. But they haven't announced it straight away. And they don't usually do that anyways.
